Swedish born actress and TEDx speaker Jannica Olin is Hollywood's Bald Blonde. A graduate of The Neighborhood Playhouse in New York, Credits include The Pitt (HBO), All American: Homecoming (CW), music videos for Andy Grammer, Jessie J, Janelle Monae; commercials for Apple, BoomChickaPop, Stella Artois, Nordstrom, LG. She has also been featured in videos for BuzzFeed and SoulPancake ( back when those were a thing). Immersive theatre credits include four seasons of The Willows (JFI Productions) as well as CreepLA:Entry (2016), CreepLA:LORE (2017), and CreepLA:Haus Of Creep (2019), also with JFI Productions.

As a filmmaker, Jannica has written and produced short films for the Easterseals Disability Film Challenge since 2021. She had her directorial debut in 2024, with the comedy short, The Mistake, shot by Alicia Robbins, ASC (Bridgerton, Grey's Anatomy). The film won the Jury Award at Voices Rising in New York (2024) and was also accepted into the Lift Off: Los Angeles Film Festival and screened at the Academy Awards qualifying Hollyshorts as part of their monthly screening series. In 2025 Jannica wrote and directed the thriller short, Connexion, which also screened at Hollyshorts.

In 2014, Jannica lost all her hair to Alopecia and went on an inward journey of finding her place in the world again, as a woman, and as an actor. What she uncovered and discovered through that journey, led her to be invited to give a TEDx talk in Normal, Illinois in October 2018.
It also inspired Jannica to write the one-woman show; (IM)PERFEKT, which had its' world premiere at the Hollywood Fringe Festival in June 2019 to sold-out houses. In the fall of 2022, (IM)PERFEKT had its Off Broadway debut at Theatre Row in New York as part of United Solo; the largest solo theatre festival in the world.
Through her work as a speaker and performer; Jannica shines the light on an often disempowering beauty ideal and wants us all to fully embrace who we are and what we look like. Whether on stage speaking to students and organizations; performing her solo show or appearing on TV and film, Jannica is redefining what our idea of beauty, normal and perfect is supposed to look like.

In 2017 Jannica was nominated for the Los Angeles Business Journal’s Women’s Summit; an event that recognizes and honors outstanding professional women who have made significant contributions to their
professions and the Los Angeles community.

CONNEXION - short film, 5 min
"A fateful encounter brings two troubled strangers together who are both escaping their pasts. With their futures uncertain, one gets the opportunity to make a choice that will alter the other’s forever." Connexion is a thriller short, made in 2025 for the Easterseals Disability Film Challenge. Jannica wrote, directed and starred in this suspenseful 5 minute story, which screened at the Academy Awards qualifying Hollyshorts as part of their monthly screening series.
